Had a Mora Classic sitting around, decided it was the perfect candidate for my first attempt at re-handling a blade.
Used some scrap leather, some copper sheet from an old boiler insert, an old spoon for the front guard and a piece of alder from the yard.

The sheath is just a simple riveted fold-over, but with a molded plastic insert made from some PVC conduit to give it a nice snug fit.

Nice big belt loop on the back to fit web belts or pack straps, might add a dangler later.

Pretty happy with how it turned out for a first try!

Thanks guys! I've been meaning to give it a go for a while, really stoked with how it worked out.
Next is a matching fire steel holder, maybe some pouches...

You made a grand job of both, The knife now has some character, and I love the vintage look of the sheath. Great work.
You will go far. I am sure that these will greatly appeal tomost members.

Love that. Especially the sheath. It will just look better as it ages.

Shame about the initials though! ;)
