Hi guys, was wondering where to get the best pair of moleskin trousers (preferably green) for about £30 or under.

Also if anyone fancies giving the rest of us any insights into moleskin in generally that'd be lovely...

They stand up well to hard use but are heavy and rather warm in hot weather. Mine still get used more than anything else I have.

For a few quid more you can buy the best, I have never looked back since buying the hoggs ones, well worth the extra dosh, thicker than anything similar!!!!

the local market surplus bloke sell's these (used) for 9.50 a pair. they are brilliant, wear mine all the time around the smallholding.

Hoggs Monarch Moleskins.
Rated the best in independent tests IIRC.

They are warm, windproof, soft, the fabric has a bit of a nap. Good all-purpose outdoor material. They'll take a light shower but wouldn't want to get them seriously wet.
