Hello made this today. It is originaly made for cutting sugar. It was in the box to the right. Sharpened it and we see how it holds up. I can imagine the amazing power you could get from a full grown stock knife that cloggers used!
Nice job - but knives for cone sugar can be very rare and expensive - I'm guessing they stopped making them in the 1800s? That one doesn't look old though - did they use them more recently there?
OMG that price is crazy. Nobody gonna buy that. Never seen one go for more than 300 sek. If its really old and well used I guess more but only thing I can say to that seller is keep dreaming! I will cut wood with mine...
Wasn't there a woodlore knife going for 2000, you can put a price on anything, and maybe even sell it. But having said that, any antique is worth a few quid, they where expensive back when they where made too!
