I bought 2 Coleman 3 season sleeping bags the other week reduced from £40 to £20 and a Vango 3 manner that was £70 down to £35.

I only changed the avatar yesterday as i tried to put a custom one on and it kept saying it was too big even though it wasn't, i will try again as i can see your point, it kind of draws your eye away from everything else on screen.
its worth keeping your eyes open for the millets closing down sales as blacks anounced about 50 stores will close with the loss of about 100 jobs
I thought this would happen when Blacks bought out Millets a few years ago. For a while they ran seperately with Millets doing the cheaper stuff and Blacks doing the slightly better quality stuff. I've noticed a gradual decline in quality on the Blacks side over the past couple of years - hope their stuff picks up after the reorganisation.
Wonder if the remaining Millets will be rebranded as Blacks?

they say that some branches will be rebranded, but only larger stores in places where they feel its woth while (probably bigger towns and near prime locations) but they will close loss making stores and the remainder will stay the same..

Blacks are also doing a similar sale and, as you might expect, many of the items are the same and have the same prices.
I haven't been in either store recently but Blacks was always more upmarket than Millets in the past.
Anyway if you check out both their Websites there are some good deals to be had. If I could stand the drive to Blacks I'd go and check out what they have on offer. There were a few things on the Website that interested me but I'd like to see them in the flesh, so to speak.

Saw a decent looking 65L rucksack in Millets the other day for £25... but seen as I'm in the red atm I think I better leave it
