Military Tilley Lamp Question

The only Coleman I have is a modern(ish) petrol jobby. Great for outdoors but impossible to use indoors for the smell alone let alone H&S reasons !

Aspen 4T is a clean burning fuel, an Alkylate petrol,

Make sure you get 4T and not the two stroke 2T, no smell if you spill and good for your lantern.

Most stovies now use 4T (when they can get it, not many suppliers in the UK although its pretty much fuel of choice in Scandinavia)

Or, panel wipe, its Naptha, burns clean and available from a lot of motor spare shops in 5 litre cans. You can get it on eBay, postage for the first can is not cheap but the price really drops if you buy more than one as in here:

Cheers - I have heard of Aspen 4T but I doubt I can find it in the village!
