I've just been looking into ''Micro'' Para-cord for a mate, And from what I gather it is paracord without the inner strands, So is that just the Cheapo ''Fake'' type? you get on some site's or is it different.

There is also Paracord Type 1 (accessory cord). Same as normal paracord with inner strands but only thinner; 1.9mm.

It’s just the same as normal cord but 1.18mm thick

I've got a couple of lengths of 2mm dyneema, it's good stuff with an impressive load. But not so good in a friction environment I think. Got mine from Bob and rose at bpl

What I have recently seen in a youtube video about a pocket survivial kit is to use Dental Floss. It's strong and only takes up a tiny amount of space.

I have a stash of Climbers Accessory Cord / Static Cord. It's very good :)

I've just had some 2mm beal accessory cord arrive from Tamarack, it's lovely stuff. Liked it so much I've ordered 3 more 5m lots from them. It's only 26p a metre and they do free p&p over £30, plus they have a bcuk discount code for full members I believe, didn't use it as the cord is already 15% off. It has a nice anti-tangle stiffness to it
