Micro meths burner - fits Crusader cooker

I use a .177 pellet tin with a piece of fibreglass rope in it (the sort of stuff used as a seal on log burner stove doors). You need enough to fit snugly all round the inside rim of the tin and a little bit across the middle. Then add the meths.
Fits in the Crusader well a treat! Boil time about 8 mins or so.
 
when i was palying with these type stoves (cant find the thread now )

i found that it was just as effective to tip teh meths in the crusader cooker dish and light it as mess about with putting burners in this was due to the large heat sink of metal the cooker is, taking a lot of fuel to warm it up and prime any burner etc

once free of the cooker etc using a wire stand for the cup they massivly increased in performance and a pop can stove would out perform trangia burners etc
