Hi all,
Just wandered over here yesterday when British Blades was down....
I've just ordered a Michael Morris profiler fixed blade (michaelmorrisknives.com)
Anyone use these for bushcraft? He makes them from W1 or W2 steel files, just wondering about corrosion resistance (although I don't mind a bit of maintenance), anyone got any experience of them?
Thanks.

I have a New Style Camper from MM and am used to 01 steel but was not prepared for the speed which his blades get a light surface coat of corrosion (he does warn of this in his blurb with the knife). I never store his knife in the sheath plus, as a result, I have blued mine which has certainly slowed the effects down. Kept in a cool dry study with no condensation. So keep it oiled/renwaxed well as it is such a good knife it would be a shame if it got too bad.
