On a whizz through town this morning ....

Barrentine Meths 500l for just £1.69 at the B&M store in Carmarthen

Wilko still charging £3.50 per 500ml but did pick a 21" bow-saw blade for 99p

I was in my local B&M last week and they dont stock it....I wonder if we have different Laws here in Scotland with regards to selling Meths.?

In saying that, Wilko's had some as you say at £3.

I got some in B&M's in Blantyre and in Uddingston, Stevie, but not the one in Hamilton. I think it just depends on what's in stock….and it needs to be one of the old Focus stores that did the garden centre bit too. Maybe there the only ones who can order it in ?

I found meths at 1.29 in a store near my parents last year so bought all 14 bottles.

£8 65 for 2 litres this morning at our local hardware store, I was a bit desperate though as I was off on a hike, must shop around….sometimes I hate the South Island, we don't have a lot of the shops that are on the mainland…..grrrr!
