memory map - track & route

  • Come along to the amazing Summer Moot (21st July - 2nd August), a festival of bushcrafting and camping in a beautiful woodland PLEASE CLICK HERE for more information.
The basic difference is that a route is where you want to go and a track is where you have been.

Normally you create a route to follow using MM and upload it to your GPS, then the GPS creates the track as you go, this can be downloaded back into MM to see how closely you followed your planned route etc.

Sorry....no idea about modern GPSs Ed...good luck anyway :)
