Still stuck in Nothingtown...
I've got a few questions to ask about member details.

Under my name it says 'member' and under that 'active member' whereas some people have things like 'settler' and 'nomad' under theirs. What's that all about?
Also, I've seen a few people mention 'rep' or 'rep points'. Do we have a reputation system in this community like they do over on BB. If so, how can I see peoples rep points?

Not really important questions, just things that have been bugging me. :)

And by the way, I've tried doing a search on this but didn't have a clue what to search for

Its to do with the amount of posts theyhave made..... your title will change as you make more posts..... thats all.... nothing special really....

Yes we do :)

To add to someones rep you need to click on the scales icon on their post..... if you click your own scales icon on one of your posts you will see how many rep points you have

If so, how can I see peoples rep points?
You can't over here.... thats a 3rd party hack that Martyn added in over on BB which is not installed over here on BCUK. You can click on the little green squares on peoples posts and that will give you the rep 'title' .... again this will change as you get more rep points.

Not really important questions, just things that have been bugging me.
Hey... no worries.... If you are asking you can bet there are others out there who also want to know :)

Hope that helps

:D

That cleared it up perfectly, thanks :)

I thought the rep system was great on BB as it allowed people to quite easily determine who knew what they were talking about and who just liked to post without really saying anything worthwhile.

It's a shame it's not employed here too.
