Do Badgers just not get stung? Is their fur too dense for wasps to penetrate or are they just immune to the sting?
This underground wasp nest was totally destroyed by a badger a couple of nights ago.

I know they eat the grubs if they can get to them, and they are powerful diggers. It takes a lot to stop a determined brock....and more to stop a hungry one.

We've had a few wasp nests destroyed by badgers this year. Sadly they also dig up quite a few bumble bee nests as well, especially in the dry weather. I do worry a bit about our bee hives as we get.loads of badgers about the place.

They bristle up their hairs which are very dense and the stingers are too short on wasps to reach. Hornets can though. And badgers can get stung on their snoots, which they don’t like at all. But as they are mostly plunged into the nest the wasps don’t get much of a chance to get to that bit.
