I am awestruck a perfect tooth pick. I am counting the pennies as I type this. I can see it in a kydex sheath with all the optional extras on it with G10 scales in black with red liners.:You_Rock_

thank you, managed to get the heat treat done this morning, its now in the oven tempering, note anti scale compound on blade which works very well
my new fish kettle quench tank was very helpful seen here pre heating... i do have to take it off the burner and move it very very carefully into position for quenching though so glad of the handles!

spent the morning putting an edge on it before chopping up more wood and generally abusing it... to see if i can break it! before spending the afternoon busting my fingers sanding...

thank you, shaping the scales this morning... rough shaped and ready for sanding. weight now is just under 650gms
