:cool:this kit comprises a long slender knife the blade being about 7 inches by 3/4 of an inch to a fairly fine tapered point.
the handle is black buffalo horn with brass bolsters and copper pins.
made in the same way is the other part of this set which looks to me like a six inch steel very fine pointed knitting needle. again with flat panel black buffalo horn and brass/ copper rivets
they come in a leather sheath much like a bushcraft knife and firesteel but the ey sit piggy back
the leather and kit are both of the highest quality and look to have been made by a very skilled crafts man. these are not a home made attempt they are historically correct in every detail.
the knife part has a few scratches where i sharpened it and the fork/ needle has some surface pitting near the point but nothing which cant easily be sorted. if yourve never seen one of these kits pm me your mobile number and i'll send you a photo bond know hak to post them on here.
what do I want for it see my listing under items up for trade.
this is really unusually and i have not ever seen any others like it!!
