Can anyone suggest an alternative to the Maxpedition 10x4 bottle holders.
I have two already but need three more and would like to consider other makes(ok cheaper)

If you put " molle bottle holder " into ebay search, there's a rake of 'em from chinese an H.K. sellers on there at around £15 with the postage, IIRC............A friend of mine has been using 3 of them for about 4 months now, and he says they're fine. I ordered a couple of them last week for carrying knife, saw and carving tools.......just can't bring myself to pay the money for MaxP gear any more............atb mac

Condor sell a copy called the H2O holder

not seen them for sale in the UK though

I've made my own based on a standard US bottle holder

That would have to be the 12x5. The other isn't big enough. I have my storm f1 a 12x5 and its snug but not excessive.

Condor H2O 4"x10"

5 C's kit:
Container: Guyot stainless steel water bottle / GSI stainless steel cup/pot
Combustion: Fire-steel, magnesium bar, BIC lighter, toilet paper
Cutting tool: Ontario RAT 3, SAK One-Hand Trekker
Cordage: 50' tarred bank line, sling made with 25' - 550 paracord, 2x 6' 550 paracord (shoe lace length)
Cover: Mylar space blanket

I have Maxpedition gear as well, but the Condor (made in China) compares favorably. Only Condor failure was a plastic zipper pull on wife's pack, replaced with piece of 550 cord. Completely satisfied with Condor quality.
