My brother heard his alarm clock radio one morning chattering on about dehydrated whisky.
Through the ether of gonk he failed to realise that it was April Fools Day and spent the next few hours in blissful contemplation of just what a*good* thing this was going to be!
He had visions of adding the stuff to innumerable mixes and since it was powdered how light it was going to be in his pack too.....): ):
He was so disappointed

But wait a minute, water isn't pure...maybe it's just the minerals, etc., that's in the sachet  Many, many bargains......evilbay indeed....

Toddy,

Dehydrated alcohol is no joke, it seems that they are selling it in small sachets in Germany and peole can add it to their favorite drink to make it contain alcohol.

The advantage is that the dehydrated alcohol seems to fall under "candy" and as such is not taxed as any normal alcoholic beverage or spirit is and so it is cheaper and can even be bought by persons below the legal age for consuming alcohol.

www.globetrotter.de is even selling dehydrated wine which they admit themselves does not really taste like an ordinary chardonnay ;) but still it has alcohol in it.

Best Scouting wishes,
