For sale, and MOD issue Martindale No.2 Golok. Date stamped 1977 on one side and the crocodile logo on the other.
I have played with the grind and it is now more convex and does bite, but its not shaving sharp. I had intended to take of more of the shoulders, but just ran out of steam, so the edge is not as pretty as a professional would have done, but it works. It comes with the bayonet sheath as well, all though this has had the buckle cut off, it does still have the loops at the back.
As its stamped 1977, its not one of the cheap/copy far eastern imports. I bought it from a surplus shop in Leeds about 3 years ago, and went through all his stock and picked out the least damaged edge. I'm only getting rid, because my brother in law gave me his issue one from the 80's and I'd rather keep that instead.
