Making a leather sheath... What else do I need?

If I am not too late...... Don't do what I have done on my first sheath.... make a nice template then place it upside down on the leather so the resulting sheath is for a lefty not a righty (but wrongy)
It now resides in my box of bits to mock me everytime I have a rummage.
