Making a Covert Photon torch?

I'm trying to make a PHOTON into a Covert type by using a cut off from a black bic pen top, just wondered if anyone else has tried or knows a better way, Apart from buying the covert.

Is the shroud part fixed or does it slide back in?

If it’s fixed then pretty much any bit of tube could be glued in place, tiny bit of 6mm brass or whatever. Even a tubular bead would work. Biro tube cut to size?

How do you mean ‘treat this’?

Any bit of 6mm internal tube would do, there’s no real heat off a 5mm led operating on a Photon.

Pen cap if have a pen thin enough, like the freebie promotional ones.

On a normal flashlight can just use tape with a pin hole in.

Use nail polish. You cav get the led outpost exactly as you want it. Peels off with a bit of Acetone.
