There are LED versions, I had a conversion kit for the normal minimaglite, but you lost the focussing ability.

Can I suggest these. very compact (slightly bigger than a clipper cigarette lighter) Alloy body, beam focus adjustment from narrow to flood, weather sealed, runs on one AA battery and puts a 4 cell maglite to shame. Oh and the best bit they cost £2.60 so get four They are so good that I now have ten dotted around the house, the car, the shed etc...

They take about 10 days to come from the far east

If that doesn't float your boat then this is pretty good too and fits on your keys - also comes with a free waterproof tinder box Only drawback is that it doesn't run on AAA's

Fenix E05 is awesome. Mine has lasted 2+ years on my keyring with no ill effects other than looking all 'Boba Fett'. Battery lasts well and lots brighter than the E01.

Thrunite Ti is pretty good too.
