Just tasted our lovely home made Amaretto, we made some apricot jam earlier in the year and wanted to use the stones for something so we added them to some brandy along with some syrup, we're well impressed with the results, also on the go is wild strawberry and cherry, elderberry and grape, hazelnut and vanilla. This weekend we are making walnut and sweet chestnut liquors, we're certainly blessed with an abundance of wild foods around here and this year has been particularly good, there is also a bumper fungi harvest this year.
