Lords Wood work party meet and photos June 25~27 2021

Welcome to Lords Wood 2021

​

Following on from our previously successful work parties, I am now offering to host another meet this month.

It will follow the same format as before, clearing years of self seeded saplings, brash burning and processing logs for the communal fire. This will in turn open up the canopy letting light onto the forest floor promoting a diverse understory, and of course provide us with more choice for either hanging or those preferring the floor!

As you can see from the photo above, some space has been re claimed for the ground dwellers. This meet i have earmarked a lovely secluded area to cater more for the hangers amongst us.

Access is good, parking is alongside the woodland so bring the kitchen sink if you wish! As this is a work party don't forget to bring your cutting tools and a willing pair of hands.

Can't get the time off work so it's looking like I won't be able to make this months meet. Also working next month and going to the shows in August so won't be able to make it to a meet till September now
