Sounds good very useful i’m sure there will be some interest. As an aside there was chat of doing some M&C lessons last time I was at the meet, did these happen? If not I'll bring some maps and we can go through the basics in the evening.

Hi Steve, How would my big van go on down those tracks? I struggled at times at NW as you know.Went up to lords wood the other day, reason was twofold. I Had a job for my wheelbarrow, and check out the access. Amazing what a bit of sun and wind can do, top meadow back to normal. bluebells and trees sprouting quickly too can't wait for the meet!
Another bit of useful info, the landlord of the horse and jockey pub has agreed to us using the pub car park if we ever have an access issue again. There may be a small fee have yet to discuss that with him, but rather that than miss a meet.
Perhaps Steve will let us camp up the top. If remember she liked it there?Do we have the option of camping in the copse Steve?
I might be able to pursuade (how do you spell it!) Hannah to come if we can, she is not so keen on the dark woods
Parking is close so yes bring the kitchen sink. If you have a chainsaw great, otherwise anything that will process wood from wrist to waist size, or just a willing pair of hands is fine too. Its a new wood to us so we have work to do.Hello could you clarify a couple of things
1. Are the vehicles close by so we can bring anything that fits in the vehicle as opposed to being a trek away and having to carry stuff in?
2. What tools are you expecting e.g. Hand tools or petrol brushcutter / chainsaw?
Thanks
Thanks for letting me know MikeNot gonna be able to get there till 2-3ish on Saturday as I have to look after the kids while the Mrs gets her covid jab at lunchtime
Well if enough people bring their spare items absolutely! For those who don't know, at our last venue we held a regular bushcraft style car boot on the meets. So, if you have any unwanted camping/hiking gear bring it along. Will we be having a boot sale.....
No problem mate, you have a great weekend, maybe next time.Sorry guys - really gutted but have to drop out of this one.
