Welcome to Lords Wood
(Note date change)
Weather permitting, for a while we will resume clearing and brash burning opening up further glades for us to use, and let the woodland breathe again! Instead of processing all the timber for the wood pile, we will keep the more useable pieces from the clearance for future projects, so to this end bring any sharps and tools you feel will contribute. :)

Collecting dead standing or fallen wood for your ground protected fires is fine.

For those yet to attend Lords Wood but are a bit hesitant?

There are a few guidelines here, and that's really as far as 'rules' go. Just about everything you need to know about this venue is there, these are very relaxed and friendly meets. Once we have spent a few hours tidying up the wood, we may meet at the communal fire for a brew and a chat. Or you may prefer to sit in your own pitch and practice woodland crafts etc on your own or with mates, that's fine there's plenty of space. Or if you need help on anything bushcrafty, just ask we have a wealth of knowledge between us. :)
Oh and don’t forget to bring any bushcraft gear you want to move on at the bushcraft car boot!

I look forward to seeing you.

Hi Dave, it would be nice to see you at the arranged meet, did you mean as well as, both?
No mate I was joking. I'm stuck in clinic all day.
Hopefully mid afternoon landing at the woods on Friday matey.
I'm bringing a few carving projects with me and will be looking for some advice from your good self if you get a chance.

Just checked with the farmer, access is fine the cattle are out of the approach fields and the gates are open. If for some reason they’re not, close them behind you and keep to the field perimeters please, ok see you there. Oh and don’t forget your surplus items for our car boot! :)
