Looking for low cost Ferrocerium Rods

Hi,

I have spent hours trying to track down where I can get about 80 low cost Ferrocerium Rods for a Scout Camp. Does anyone know a good supplier (UK if possible) ideally 6mm+

Your help on this would be great as I must buy soon ready for the camp later this month.

These don't have handles, but not actually needed anyway. And your group could always customise them by handling them themselves if required. These seem to be the cheapest I have come across.

These are ok if you want them to last for a camp or two but knowing the way my scouts go at a ferro rod id be inclined to get a solid rod rather than these small 2mm insert types. Plenty of good sized rods on ebay from china for chips and they work just fine.

Hi all, Thanks for you help and links, I did manage to buy 1 kg of rods via Aliexpress from a supplier in China, and over the past few days I have put one of them to mega testing, and the wear is very small and give good sparks. I've used cheap hacksaw blade ends for the strickers. so with some paracord to put them together the whole unit costs less than £1.
I would diffo use the supplier again for the next big Scout camp I do.
