Hi Guys,
I'm trying to find a cheap kukri, not a cheap and nasty one but a resonably priced item. I've looked at Ebay and some of the kukri specific sites but since being laid off from work, I can't justify spending that much for one.
I'm after something to compliment my bushy/axe/folding saw set-up, perhaps on the larger side with a bit of weight to it.
Don't mind something that needs tidying or has lost its sheath, so long as the price is reasonable.

I don't know what you call reasonable but there is quite a useful looking range of kukris available from Bearclaw Bushcraft. It might be worth a look.

As ever, I've no connection, etc. I just happened to notice them.

Hi Ogri
I use Tora kuk's, I have about 6 of them and they are the real working Mc.coy.
check out torablades.com, if they are too expensive check out http://www.khukurihouseonline.com/ these are cheaper but not such good quality.
I have dealt with both of them a lot and delivery is superb from both, last year I ordered 2 kuk's for the grandchildren from http://www.khukurihouseonline.com/ they were posted from Katmandu on the 19th Dec and arrived on my door 21st Dec.
Simon is waiting for some to come in but you will not be disappointed with his kuks.

Nothing to do with either just a very happy customer. Good luck

Wow, my flabber has been well and truely gasted!
I posted the same query on British Blades and within minutes had a very generous offer from a member there for a WW2 item, who insists the only payment required will be a write up of whatever I end up doing with it. I'm in no position to turn down an opportunity like that, so hopefully there will be a project Kukri in the offing this winter with pictures and a write up going on over there, but I'll copy it here too.

Thanks for your replies gents, its good to know there are people willing to help out here too.
