This is a very good quality cape. I'm only offering for sale as I don't have chance to use it now and it's too good to hang in a wardrobe forever.
Made in Germany by Loden Friedl and sold as a German Deer Stalking cloak.
I have also added an extra matching shoulder rain cape and hood.
To make doubly sure no rain will get through I have put a layer of Gore-Tex under the shoulder cape. This is as waterproof as it gets!
The cloak is pure Loden wool in XL size, antler buttons and has straps inside so it can be rolled up and carried like a rucksack on warm days.
The website quotes the retail price as 200 Euros for the cloak and 90 Euros for the shoulder cape. 290 Euros all in plus post etc.
Further details of all the features are on the website here.

I'm offering this for sale at £175 including postage to UK address.
Not many of these cloaks around so if you want one snap it up now!

Gary ? would you do a rough draft pattern sketch for me please ? if you find time, and paper and pencil handy :)

I like the idea of the inner shoulder cape as the balance to stop the whole thing either choking the wearer or falling forward all the time.

I never realised until you said Mary but there must be 4 layers of Loden on the shoulders.
both the cloak and cape have internal layers. plus the Goretex i put in as well...

I'm sure Gary will have fun thinking of how to improve it.

I'm terrible at drawing patterns but I'll do my best.
I could certainly photograph it to within an inch of it's life for you.

Tell you what; you photograph it and I'll draught it for you :) and if you make, or would like any alterations to that pattern, maybe after you've worn and used it for a bit, that would make it your own and you can do what you like with it those among the SP folks
I still have six metres of Best British made genuine black barathea wool. 60" wide.
While I mind too, somewhere I have a ladies riding coat outfit pattern. If your other half would like it, I'll find it and pass it along. It would be incredibly SP :D
