Next weekend I'm going to take a wander out onto Loch Long/Goil. Loch Lomond the last couple of weeks has been do-your-head-in busy and I need a break from the jetskis.
Nothing planned as such. Just get the new boat salty and do some fishing.
I'll be putting in at the car park next to the tanker depot(NS241952) on friday evening at about eightish if anyone fancies it, can probably transport the wee Pack as well if another canoe is needed.
Here's a link to some pics from last year. Will probably head for the same area again. If the weather's bad the other options are the west shore of Loch Long or if it's really wild Lomond would likely be safer(and quieter than it's been lately).
