LMF Firesteel 2.0

I know JonathanD started an article quite a while back with some initial use of the new 2.0 version of the light my fire firesteel.

Has anyone else bought one since and how does it compare in long term use; compared to the previous version?
More/less Comfortable to use, same durability etc?

i have the scout version hanging off a SAK as the lanyard,...and i find it very good,..

delivers an excellent shower of sparks, used it with damp natural tinder and it outdoes the generic one i have in my bushy sheath.

i would say worth investing but i got mine for 4 quid (see link) but would still be pleased if i,d payed the full price,...9 Quid???

i dont use the striker tho,...i sharpened it and left it on my keys for opening boxes etc,,,,
