Lk35 Canvas vs Cordura

Thinking of investing in a LK35 pack. Whats the difference between the fabric been canvas vs cordura? is one more favorable than the other?

Terrible pack. To me it's like asking is it better to fall in fox or dog excrement.

Better fox than dog, at least it probably means you're out and about in the countryside

Materialwise. The cordura will be lighter, resist water better, be stronger, than the canvas. Some people just like canvas though, so depends if you're in the practical vs looks/authenticity camp. (though authentic isn't quite the word, because all in all that's not an old pack, and any good current hiking pack will be better unless you're going to be carrying very heavy loads, in which case you'd better look at external frame hiking packs. The "original bushcrafters" used the best of the best which was available to them at the time too.)

For the price of these packs £17.50 from Militarymart up North in Burscough, you cant go wrong, they are not the best looking pack, but they are comfortable to use even when heavily loaded, They have a good external frame assembly, and can easily be modified, they are a simple design.
