I bought this little knife from a carboot today for 50p. I liked the look of it and it looked like it would clean up nice. Any idea's on the best way to clean the blade and handle? Forgot size: Overall 5 inch , Blade 3" and Handle 2"
Thanks
Ian

Nice buy, it looks like one of the smaller blades that goes with a khukri.

Personally I'd just sharpen it up and leave the rest is it's nice character to the whole knife

good find goodjob
Some wet and dry paper to get off any rust from the blade plus sharpening however you normally do for a fairly dinged blade. A bit of fine sanding to the handle then retreat with whatever (wax, oils etc).
You gonna post an after photo?

Thanks for the replies, I will put some photo's on when i have cleaned it up. I also bought a leather belt for 50p to make a small sheath for it.

I didn't know what a khukri blade looked like so I looked it up and I agree it does look like the smaller blade.

thanks again
Ian
