Yes there is, it's called a 14500 size cell, but it's 3.7v, not 1.5v.

For a rechargeable AA cell at 1.5v nominal you need to look at NiMH chemistry.
 
I believe that theres now AA size and Voltage rechargabe lithium batteries starting to appear on the market. I've not seen any though bar proprietary ones for camera's, laptops etc

Try deal extreme they'll have them if anybody does.
 
Is there a specific reason it needs to be lithium? The Lithium cells have relatively low capacity (750mAh) vs the 1500mAh - 2500 mAh of the NiMH cells.

If there are 1.5v version out there they are likely to be 3.7v cells with voltage regulating circuitry (like the '3v' RCR123s). The capacity would likely be even lower again.
