Sorry, no I don't but I do know diy-ers. Fiona and I are making a bhodran this week using a rawhide deerskin I've made. I used madder roots in the soak and the skin is blood red :cool:
The only problem with getting you involved would be the timings; we're intending to make it in the Galgael workshop next week .

It should do since madder is a substantive dye in it's own right though it is better with a mordant. I used it in the soaking liquor when I was trying to get the last of the hair to slip off.
