Lime flower tea

Lo! I have found a lime tree in blossom!

Heard you can make the flowers into tea. any recipes?

Strange, all the limes flowered a long time ago up here.. Nibbled on the odd leaf when out and about but not tried the tea.
 
Pick as much flowers as you can and store them in an old pillow case of preferably mossie net to dry them.

Take an oven tray and cover the tray with the flowers, drizzle runny honey over them and dry inside a slow oven. Mix them up and store in an airtight jar. You now have home made herbal baccy or just add hot water and stir and you have a soporofic tea.

I've used this homemade recipe since 1992...wonderful and you can also add in other stuff like willow bark, raspeberry leaves and the like.
