I was looking for a little advice im looking to make a wooden handle for a stainless full tang blade that i have. I was wondering if lignum vitae would be a good choice for use around water ???
Mantic said:It's a lovely wood to work with (though very dense) and is great for water use (highly resistant to moisture damage). For those who don't know, it's one of the hardest woods around (several times harder than oak for example).
