For anyone that hasn’t heard of Les Voorhies, he’s one of the legends of the knife world and worked on his own designs and many collaborations with large manufacturers, many of the Boker designs are Voorhies influenced. The link shows a fair bit of his work, which is now incredibly intricate.
This fixed hunter style knife was made around 2009 from a batch of blades he supplied as a group buy on British Blades Forum. I’m not sure who handled it, but I checked with Les it’s definitely one of his and he remembers supplying the forum with a bunch of these.
Steel is 3/16” cold rolled 1095, hollow ground and thick at the tip, this knife isn’t going to break! Handle, it looks like Padauk to me, is basic and very comfortable. Sheath, as you can see is nicely made from attractive leather and holds the knife well.
I’ve never used the knife, it doesn’t show any wear or sharpening marks. I’d like to get £115 which covers Age Verified postage and PayPal fees.
