Hi there, I've just joined and introduced myself elsewhere and have a question or two.
As the heading says, I'm looking for a leatherworking stamp that simulates lizard skin.

Try as I might, I can't find anything in catalogues I've looked at so far.
I'm wondering if there are ANY such stamps that simulate animal "skin" such
as lizards, crocodiles, etc ?

Any information will be gratefully received.

I think tht is mostly done with embossing plates, rather than stamps. If you only want to do a small area, why not just use a swivel knife?

Tandy Craftool Stamps M881, M882 and M884 might, at a push, be mistaken for some types of lizard skin. Mind, it'd be a real PITA to cover any largish area with a hand stamp and, generally and as has already been mentioned, the various animal 'patterned' leathers are done on an embossing roller.
