best place to buy cheap sheath leather? i have bodged ones out of belts etc but i would like to source some proper leather, anyone know a reliable fair priced place?

charity shops, op shops etc. Boots and furniture that they can't sell. You can always pick it up cheapish.

Last lot I got was wrapped in newspaper, the print had transferred to the leather She did replace it though.

sweet will prob give whiskered bat a go then! any recommendations on sheath leather? was thinking 3mm veg tanned?

Nothing less than 3mm. I use 3.2 - 5mm thick
