Simple question is it worth trying to salvage something off an old leather sofa? There some pretty worn parts but other parts seem pretty good.

Yes skin the whole suite and recycle the leather ,great for pouches etc ,etc.

Last one I took apart I found £4+ in amongst the other debri, surprising what can be hiding down under the seat.
