Leather Rolly Poly dump pouch

Quite like the idea of the maxpedition Rolly poly bag but thought I'd try making my own as I have a stupid amount of thin leather. It's a WIP but you get the idea

Love it Orric, always had a hankering for the max p one but that is so much better.

I just need to figure out the best way of holding it all together when rolled up. Maxpedition use Velcro but I don't think that'll feel right. Think maybe a nice wooden or antler toggle might be the way to go. Hoping to get it finished today..... Currently sitting in Kwik fit as awoke to flat tyre this morning just before dropping missus at work! Not the best start to a day off!

That's very nice. I think a toggle would work very well, or perhaps just a simple leather button

Just Google the maxped version. Did you use a round or rectangular base on yours? what sort of dimensions is it?

Well after a less than agreeable start to the day I got home and sat in the garden to finish off. Here it is

On the belt

I'll be keeping an eye open for a better button and toggle slides but it is useable as it is just atheistic I'd improve.

I used a rectangular bottom on it .... Dimensions when un rolled is 20cm deep 17cm x8cm wide

When rolled about 8cm deep and 9cm x 4cm wide.
