Made myself a leather pouch now I have all the pieces for my fire kit sorted. It's made from 1mm leather so it's quite supple but also stiff enough to stop it flopping all over the place. The buttons are carved from buffalo horn and it's all stitched together with hemp twine and finished with beeswax.
The kit contains Woodlore steel, local flint, fat wood, charcloth, Amadou
and a glass lens.
It's been fun getting this kit together and now it's finished I just need an excuse to use it!
