Hi All,

Started my second sheath for the wee fellas mora (and what a demanding customer he is!!! jeez!) Quick question on burnishing, going with the old spit and bone handle technique :yuck: but before or after dyeing?? I don't suppose it matters too much but if it's shiney will the dye penetrate as well? I'm leaning towards after dyeing but before slabbering on the Carnauba??

Cheers,

Alan

I do both! ;) - more before staining to be fair (to get a good finish) but also a quick burnish after dyeing and another as I wax / finish.
