I have for sale a current issue MCSS (modular combat sleep system) British army Sleeping bag made by the Austrian manufacturer Carinthia.
It is the british army's version of the US modular sleep system.
It comprised of two sleeping bags; warm weather and standard. Which zip together to form a cold weather bag rated to -20c.
the sleeping bag zips go all the way round so the bags can be opened out and used as a blanket in warm weather ( same as the standard warm weather sleeping bag that has been on issue to the British army for years)
Sleeping bags have mesh pockets either side of the zips inside
Removable foot box:- so you can wear your boots in the sleeping bag if you wish.
two compression stuff sacks; small one for one bag and a big one for the entire system.
It is the medium size system so is desined for a person up to 6ft in height. it is very roomy which is the reason I am selling it as it too big for me.
Blue thing in the picture is a pillow that I used to show the opening of the bag. this is obviously not included in the sale
