Last night hike.

Well last night I went up a hill called South Barrulle here on the Island to acompany my Son and his Scout Troop, the walk was great but somewhat wet wild and windy...and pitch black. You see there were a couple of new Scouts who were getting enrolled and the ancient Iron age hill fort at the top was the perfect setting !!!!

At the base still dry and a little cold because of the wind.

At the top, no intermediate pics sorry, was far too busy trying to stay alive !!!!

At the top and thinking of the flask of hot coffee in the pack, the pack leaked, my jacket leaked and my thermals were soaked, my boots were sloshing, the 'path' was a small white water torrent, great for extreme kyakers.
After a few minutes at the top we went back down the torrent and made our way home to a HOT shower and gallons of Captain Scot tea.
Slept like a log.

Ha ha, it was good to say later, after the tea, wow Im glad we did that, I feel great, which surprisingly we did !!!
