I would wait for a deal on amazon to come along, they are some time cheaper to buy the whole saw, for some reason(probably due to the bushcraft price hike) the replacement blades are reletivly expensive.

No idea where you get replacements from sorry, but if you need to process some wood while you are looking and have no other suitable tools, you can pick up a pruning saw from Poundland, for well a pound :D
Lidl also do a cheap folding saw, solidly built and guaranteed for two years. £2.99.

Probably not the answer you where looking for, but you never know.

Buy a Silky F180 Drew, same price as a new Laplander but ten times the saw, Hugo on here as an F180 and it makes a brand harry spankers Laplander look as blunt as a block of butter.

Nice one Keppis, thanks. Do you think Laplanders will fall out of favour due to the high replacement blade costs, just a thought.

Doubt it the Laplander has a such a loyal following, whereas until recently Silkies were a little pricey, still are in most cases, but they are worth every penny, Silky have realised there is a market for a cheaper saw and have hit it at the right price, the cost of replacement Silky blade is more or less the same as the Laplanders too, it's just a different option to consider for a folding saw.
