I have one in my garage. leaks like a seive. Could be the seals but ive not got round to checking. in operation it kicked out a huge amount of light and was pretty easy to work

my colemans are probably about the same as a 60/100W bulb but it depends what you measure include the heat and maybe you get to around 400 but thats not exactly useful power

Para I had a similar petromax clone and it was crapola, poor build quality, can't remember the name but in the end I broke the globe and binned it.....that said at £35 I might take a punt on one. :rolleyes:

I'm a turncoat, love my Vapalux but am using Coleman these days. :27:

Cheers folks - it does look a bit too good to be true. I'll stick to my vapalux's. You're a disgrace, Richard - Coleman indeed!!!!!!!!

It does say "petroleum" lantern.Then goes onto say parrafin, which one is it?

I have a vapalux, a bialladin and a coleman. The coleman is easily the brightest of the 3 :)
