Lannyman little whittler blade handled

Made this for the 2013 make a knife comp.

here's my finished entry, keeping it rustic.

Think the wood is ash, not sure though. Seems a little soft. Bolster is a copper pc heat sink, corian spacer with red fibre spacers between. Blade was a kind gift from Lannyman of this parish. This is my second attempt at getting a handle on it.

I'm only sorry it took me so long! It's razor sharp and a great little whittler.

Very nice work. Great grain in the wood and as said nice use of the copper in the bolster. Looks a comfy working knife
