Landscape Photographer of the Year 2016

Results are in and I'm very pleased to say I had two commended this year.

This one which I've talked about already.

And this one which was taken at the Blackpool International Fireworks Championship a couple of years ago.

These will both be in this years book, The Circle of Fire shot will be printed for the exhibition in London and the firework shot will be projected as part of the show.

Thank you. I have to admit I am quite pleased with the result this year.

I've been getting far less time to go out and shoot stuff like this so I'm glad to know I'm still doing something right.

I've just heard that the "Circle of Fire" shot has also been selected for the special tenth anniversary book which contains a selection of the best from the last ten years of the competition.

The Exhibition will be at London Waterloo Station from 21st November 2016 - 5th February 2017

Sadly I cannot make it down this year but it's usually a great show.
