.....Nor is it pretty, but it does the job - my first attempt at thermoforming a plastic sheath, for my newest knife.
This monstrosity is made from some ABS plastic salvaged from a trim panel part from a Transit van, I got just enough flat area for a small sheath. It is a bit thick really, as it does not have much definition to the shape, but it grips the knife on the projection forward of the finger choil, and the knife enters with a satisfying click. There are some areas where the plastic has bubbled as it got a bit hot (I held the heat gun a bit close), so it is not the best finished item. Kydex makers of this parish (Luckylee, FGYT, Rapidboy etc) need not fear for their jobs!
