Kydex cleaning ?

Anyone ever had to remove Scotch or duct tape from Kydex as I have a few sheets with tape on and just wanted to see.

There are also lots of adhesive remover fluids. I use GooGone, but also industrial version by Ambersil. I find it so useful to have a special remover that I would not be without it.

Interesting thing. A few years back when we had those really hot couple of weeks in the summer, I used masking tape to attach mylar film outside a number of windows. It reduced indoor temperature by nearly 10 degrees compared to neighbour's identical house. I used three different rolls of tape, just whichever was handiest at the time. When it came to removing...one came off with Googone, one came off with meths, and one came off with white spirit. Each solvent had next to no effect on two of the three tapes!

Ethanonl or Isopropanol (bit better as it evaporates slower) usually get the job done.
